What You’ll Need
Iron and Ironing board
100% cotton t-shirts for you and your little one
2 packs of 3 inch iron on vinyl letters
Scissors
Ruler
Optional iron on hearts or emojis to decorate with
Start by cutting out all the letters you desire and choosing your emojis! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we chose the famous Beyonce song lyric “I love you like… XO!”Just a little tip, be sure to cut as close to the letters as possible. Then, use your ruler to evenly place the saying onto your shirts. Don’t get too technical, sometimes the more random the placing the more aesthetically pleasing it looks! During this time be sure to plug in your iron and set it to a cotton non-steam setting to allow time for the iron to heat up!Transfer the shirts to your ironing board and place the heat transfer paper over first line of words. Place your iron on top of the heat transfer paper and move the iron in a circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. Repeat for each line of words until finished. Be sure to get the edges of the letters extra good! Then, flip the t-shirt over and iron the back for 1 minute.Let it completely cool then lift a small part of the clear coating to make sure letters are sticking. If the letters still haven’t stuck, take the heat transfer paper and iron again for another 30-60 seconds and then let it cool. Next, take the corner of the clear coating and slowly peel it off the letter while pressing the letter down on the t-shirt. Repeat for each letter.Love it? Feel free to share! Happy Valentine’s Day mommies!
