White Chocolate Valentine’s Popcorn + FREE printables!

Everyone knows Valentine’s Day is the best time to share your love, and we believe everyone deserves a little sugar. That’s why we’ve whipped up something extra sweet for you and your Valentine. This White Chocolate Popcorn is sure to win hearts. And to make it easier, we’ve included some free printables so you can let your Valentine know how you really feel. Below youll find a step-by-step guide, so gather your supplies and let’s get poppin’!


Ingredients

1 bag of white chocolate chips
2 Tbsp shortening
8 cups popped popcorn
Valentine’s Day themed sprinkles
cardstock to download and print our FREE printables
6×9 plastic bags
red and white string

Step 1

Heat a flat bottom frying pan over medium heat. Add 1-2 cups of kernels to the hot pan and cover with lid. Once kernels start popping start shaking the pan every 10-15 seconds until all kernels are popped.

Step 2

Melt the shortening and chocolate in a glass bowl making sure to stir every 30 seconds until fully melted.

Step 3

Drizzle chocolate mixture over popcorn and stir until fully coated. Add your heart shaped sprinkles and any other goodies you like.

Step 4

Form small balls and let cool on wax paper until set. During this time, download the free valentine’s printables here. Then cut out and hole punch each printable so you can thread the red and white string through.

Step 5

Place popcorn balls inside 6×9 bags and close up with string and valentine’s printable. You may need to make more popcorn depending on how many people are in your child’s class.
