To find out how to make these fun Nature Paint Brushes, just keep reading!
Supplies
Sticks
Items from nature
Rubber bands
Washable paint
Roll of paper
Directions
To begin, take your child on a nature walk and collect the sticks and nature items. Try to look for unique textures and shapes that would show up well on paper.
After you’ve gathered your supplies, creating your paint brushes is super easy! Simply wrap a rubber band around the end of each stick, then slip a piece of nature under the rubber band to create the “bristles.” (We recommend placing the rubber bands on the sticks first to avoid crushing your nature items.)
Once your paint brushes are finished, pour some paint onto a paper plate to make a palette for your child.
Finally, roll out some paper and let your little one paint to their heart’s content!
As they stamp, brush, and roll each paint brush to figure out the best techniques, they’ll be able to boost their creativity and hone their fine motor skills. Plus, they’ll have a blast discovering the patterns each piece of nature creates!
Happy painting!
