Labor is unpredictable, so it’s best to be prepared! Having your hospital bag packed a few weeks in advance is always a good idea, but you might not know exactly what you need—especially if you’re a first-time mom. Don’t worry! In this post, we’re sharing a packing list with all the essentials for mom, dad, and baby. We kept to the basics that should work for almost any momma-to-be. However, everyone is different, so feel free to add any additional items you know you can’t survive a couple days without!
Toiletries:
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Body wash
- Face wash
- Shower shoes
- Chapstick
- Lotion
- Contacts, solution, and/or glasses
- Makeup (optional)
For mom:
- Hair ties
- Socks
- Slippers
- Robe
- Pajamas
- Nursing bra and/or nursing tank
- Leggings or sweats
- Going-home outfit
- Phone charger
- Snacks and/or cash for vending machines
- Your own pillow/blanket (optional)
For dad:
