Fall is one of our favorite seasons here at Mothers Lounge, but it always seems to go by far too quickly. This year, we’re taking our time to really appreciate this season, and we want to help you do the same! We’ve come up with a super fun activity for your little ones that allows you to get out of the house, slow down a little, and celebrate fall.
This scavenger hunt is an easy, affordable activity that your whole family can enjoy! Using our list, you can find fall-themed objects and teach your little one about the season. You can also focus on the senses of sight, touch, sound, and smell as you explore each object. To get started, just follow these steps:
1) Save and print the image below.
2) Bundle up and head to your favorite park or nature area.
3) Take a walk and find each of the items on the scavenger hunt list, crossing them off as you go.
4) As an optional final step, take the items you’ve found and try out some these cool nature crafts from our previous post!
