We’ve been loving the sequin sun hat trend we’ve been seeing around this summer! It’s such a fun and simple craft that both you and your little ones will love. Not to mention, these sun hats can dress up any sundress or bathing suit!
Materials:
Oversized floppy hat for both you and your mini (We purchased the women’s hat on Amazon and the toddler hat at H&M)
Sequin Trim in your Favorite Color
Fun Trim to use for the Band of the Hat
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Directions:
Start by choosing your favorite summer or beach themed word or phrase! (ex: Hello Sunshine, Beach Bum, Beach Mode, Beach Hair Don’t Care, Beach Vibes, Bon Voyage) We chose “Suns Out”! If your hat has any trim/ribbon on the band, be sure to remove it. Next, sketch your phrase onto the brim of the hat with a pencil. Using the hot glue gun, trace half of the first letter. Then quickly add the sequin trim. Repeat until finished!
To top it off, add a fun trim to the band of the hat! Viola! You and your little one are officially beach ready!
