Ingredients

3/4 C. butter, softened
1 C. creamy peanut butter
4 C. powdered sugar
Orange gel food coloring
Mini chocolate chips

Yields: 20 servings

Directions

1) In a mixing bowl, cream butter and peanut butter together until smooth.

2) Mix in powdered sugar in 1/2 cup increments until the dough is no longer sticky. You may not need all 4 cups of powdered sugar.

3) Add gel food coloring and knead the dough until the color is even. Repeat until you get your desired color of orange.

4) Refrigerate dough for 10 minutes.

5) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet. Using a toothpick, make 5 – 6 indentations on the sides of each ball to create the pumpkin shapes.

6) Add a mini chocolate chip to the top of each pumpkin, pointed side up, to form the stems.

7) Refrigerate for an additional 15 minutes, or until ready to serve.
