13 Last-Minute Halloween Costumes

Halloween is almost upon us! Let’s be honest here; this is probably one of the busiest holidays for moms. Between setting up decorations, toting kids around to different parties, and getting everyone else’s costumes together, you probably haven’t had much time to think about your own costume. Don’t worry, we’ve got you! Here are 13 last-minute Halloween costumes that are easy, cheap, and great crowd pleasers!

1. Bank Robber

via Pinned and Repinned

Almost everything you need for this costume should already be laying around the house! Simply wear a black and white striped shirt, black pants, a black beanie, and a mask. You can use a ski mask or make your own out of felt or paper. To complete the look,  grab a pillowcase or plain white bag and put a dollar symbol on it using tape, fabric markers, or felt.

2. Blessing in Disguise

via Club Crafted

This costume is super punny and completely effortless! Simply write the word “blessing” on a blank shirt and find some kind of disguise. That’s it! Your disguise can be anything you want: sunglasses, gag glasses, a mask, etc. Get creative!

3. Bread Winner

via Good Housekeeping

Okay, this one’s easy. Like, really easy. Just dig up some old trophies or medals from your glory days and grab a loaf of bread from the pantry. Boom. You’re a bread winner!

4. Formal Apology

via Good Housekeeping

It’s time to venture into the back of your closet and unearth that dress you only wear for special occasions! (Because what’s more special than Halloween?) Next, create a sash that says “apology” or “I’m sorry” across the front. To make it even easier, you can just write one of these phrases on your face or make a sign out of paper.

5. Ghost

via Young Finances

Everybody loves a classic! For this costume, cut some holes out of a white sheet and throw it over your head! To make it a little more spooky, you can use black eye shadow or face paint to color in your eyes.

6. The Girl with the Green Ribbon
